The SDA Grain Classifier has been specially
designed to separate grains according to shape and size. It
precisely classifies a wide variety of grains, including different
types of the same seed.
The rotating discs are partially immersed in the bulk of
grains to be classified, and, by rotating, they load them
in cells. After that, the seeds fall in small channels where
they can be checked for quality and extracted or returned
to the process by just moving a valve.
The grains continue on their way to larger cells by a screw
attached to the blades of the discs. At the end of the process,
only the biggest seeds remain, and they can be extracted from
the system through a gate that has a valve to regulate the
level inside the machine.
This system can be customized and configured according to
the capacity and the amount of grains to be separated. |
